Driza-Bones (dry as a bone) have a reputation for living so long they can become family heirlooms. Here's how you help enusre the longevity of your own Driza-Bone coat.
Make sure you select the correct size, and allow enough room to wear a sweater underneath. A size too small will cause undue stress on the seams and over time may allow water to penetrate.
Carefully read the specific washing and care instructions for your garment to maximise its look, its water resistance and its long life.
When wet, hang your garment ia a dry airy place to dry naturally. Avoid artificial heat, naked flames or hanging over radiators. Never store wet garments in a confined, damp area.
To clean, brush off any loose dirt and sponge the outer fabric with cold water. If your garment becomes very soiled, consult the washing and care instructions inside your garment.
Where the care instructions recommend garment re-dressing, be sure to use the Driza-Bone Garment Dressing to avoid harming the garment and invalidating the Driza-Bone Guarantee.
With normal wear and a little care and attention, your Driza-Bone garment will become one of your best friends.
